It has only been 1 week since we where at Zolder but I thought, why not go again it’s been so long since I went 🤫.

Also because the weather forecast was telling a lot of 🌞 so I could not resist and booked the day. We had 6 sessions and between each session 40 minutes of rest to it would become a demanding and physical day with no hours in the gym to work on my condition. And as a programmer the heaviest lifting I do is picking up my mouse.

In the night it rained a lot and the first session the track was still with a lot of damp and in most places still very wet. Did one sighting lap and thought it was to risky to continue so the first session was a bummer. But with still 5 to go I wasn’t that sad.

Today I worked on how to enter the corners, accelerate out and my body position while doing this. In each session I did a 1:48.xxx so I am happy with the progress I made but I was able to put in quite some laps in the very low 50’s and high 40’s despite I was not trying to attack a rider or the time but work on a more comfortable position while breaking and putting in longer corners faster next to the bike.

Personally I think I made quite some progress but the high weather temperature was getting exhausting and all riders where not able to improve their times anymore that was also an indicator for me that they where all struggling with the conditions.

But overall I was very happy with the overall progress I made and I had fun!
