New day new results. The weather has been good all week and this Friday was not exception. 27℃ and a cool breeze made the day perfect for riding. The rear tire I had on the bike a Metzler K2 was a little worn due to wrong suspension settings. During the first 2 sessions the rear was sliding and I decided to change the tire before the 3rd session. When I switched to a new K2 tire the bike felt very good and the lap times dropped each time I went out.

Also tried out some traction control settings on the bike and I can say rider mode 1 (Power 1, TC 2, EB3, A3) is definitely the best one for me. the TC at level 1 is to nervous and turning it off I do not have the confidence yet. But when in TC2 the throttle response is very direct without feeling the bike interfering with my desire to go vast forward!

The last 2 sessions the times dropped quite a bit and did my personal best in the last session. A friend om mine was following me and this put me on a fast pace not wanting him to pass me. We overtook a lot of riders and it almost felt like a race but I had a very good connection with the bike to go fast and the results where there.

Next I will disable the ABS because it is difficult to ride on the track and tweak some QS settings because I had quite some false neutral shifts from 2nd to 3rd.

Unfortunately the session ended 1 lap sooner because of a other rider crashing but we where on fire!

Checkout the video’s of the last 2 sessions for a lot of good racing moments!

See you soon at the track!
