I have forgotten the last day of Assen and we are back at Zolder.
Today I’m sharing the pitbox with a fellow rider I met in Spain (Jordy) and they where doing the Endurance race. In the meantime I have swapped the bike into new colors and it looks nice. Wrapping a bike is a lot of work and I suggest to paint it instead of wrapping it 😅.
The weather was not very warm but it was dry. In the morning session the track had off the raceline some damp patches. But it was very OK to ride around them and I could put in some good laps.
But the summer in the Benelux is not what we had the last years so a little rain fell. To wet for slics but to dry for rain tyres. Had to skip the session since it already stopped raining.
The last 3 sessions went very good, adjusted the new handlebars a little and it gave much better feedback under breaking. Did decent laps and since the track was a little cold I was only 6 seconds off the fastest riders of the group.
