It has been a week since we went to Circuit Zolder that was halted very quickly by black flags due to the noise. So today we “tried” to avoid it.
First session was fine and had some fun laps. Was not my best session because at the Bianchie turn I had to moderate the throttle to avoid a noise penalty. The second session was a fun second half of the session. Peter and I where playing catch and we overtook each other every lap. Good fun to be able to ride like this.
3rd session I got my first penalty for noise but It was a good session with consistent times and had a good pace.
4th was moderate but I also got the second penalty and it was the end of my day.
During the day they halted the session 2 times with a red flag. Due to the amount of penalties and not being able to put them on the board. They really need to check whats wrong. On MOTOR-FORUM same riders are experiencing the same problems. Suddenly a 102㏈ and before doing log 90’s.
This season will be the last time we go on a noise limit day. Lost 4 session already with this issue and the organiser says, lets hope it will get better. 🤷 Don’t know what this means.
