Exciting to be back at Zolder again. The last time out was nice and had a lot of fun. Still using the Pirelli SC1 front tyre and it is a very nice tyre. Lot of grip. Thanks to [Pitbox8][https://pitbox8.nl] who supplied me this advice to try it. I normally use Metzler (same owner) but I had some moments on the front and with this one not even once. It has also resulted in 2 new PR on Assen and Zolder.

Due to the full day they have not put is in the fast group but in one lower. I don’t know why they even allow you to select the group when you book. It is just one long list and you don’t end up in the group.

But the first 2 sessions where in the slower group and this was frustrating. They ride such weird lines, change last minute of a line and this makes passing very difficult/dangerous because they don’t stick to their lines. I managed on a clean lap a “1:45.876” and this was sufficient to convince the organization to move me to the fast group. And I’m glad they did!

I noticed that I’m riding so much easier on the track, I’m finding space and time I never saw. And you can see this in the laptimes. They are getting more consistent in the “1:46” but also more “1:45”. And the new PR “1:44.662”!!

It was a good day and had good fun. Enjoy the video’s.
