When we arrived we drove through snow and freezing temperatures and not the 20+ ℃ you would expect from Spain. The circuit is in the middle of nowhere but easy accessible from the main highway. The hotel Trackdudes arranged had nice rooms.
We went to set-up the bikes in the pitbox and we where set.
Early in the morning it was COLD! It was about 5℃ and no trackday temperatures at all. But since we had 7 sessions per day we skipped the first 2 and we started riding at 12:00. The temperatures where better then and we went out to see how the the track is. You can’t find that many video’s online about this racetrack so it was a surprise what to expect. But the track is really nice!! Elevation, fast corners and much more.
The finish straight is on a bump and perfect for wheelies. And ooh we made a lot of them!
There where not track laptimes available and I did not export them from my GPS, so no track times to record here. For the rest of the first day it all went fine. The track did not have good grip due to the colder temperatures but at least it wasn’t raining!
