We skipped the first session for the same reason we missed the second day. As you can see in the photos, the K0 tire took quite a beating from the previous session. Unfortunately, fitting a new one wasn’t within the budget. The tire tech said it was risky to keep rotating the tire, but hey—I’m the boss 😅.
In the third session, I managed to improve my lap time by almost a full second! 😲🤗 I noticed that the K1 on the previous day started sliding a lot as it wore down, but the K0 held its grip surprisingly well, despite its rough condition. It held up for just that one session, though.
Session 4 turned out to be more challenging due to the tire’s condition, but I managed to lay down some solid laps, working on my positioning and maintaining a good pace.
After lunch, the weather began to shift slightly, and by the fifth session, a light rain started to fall. The track was okay when we headed out, but conditions weren’t ideal. I wrapped it up after one lap, marking the end of my time at Misano.
I had a blast and loved the track! I’ll definitely come back someday to beat my 1:54
