Last time around I already broke my personal record and this time I did it again 🤗

Today Dennis was also present and had made the move from a GSXR750 to a BMW S1000RR and the times dropped a lot! The very first session had a lot of fog. My visor was covered with small drops and prevented the sight a little. But the second session and further the fog disappeared but the sun did not appear but the temperature was high. Therefore we had a not so hot sense of the sun but the tarmac was warm.

Each time I went out my times started to drop, found a new way how to enter the corner, breaking much later and on the exit open the throttle much faster then I used to. But also in the corner I was able to put my weight better next to the bike with my body position and go faster though the corner. But with this position my muscles are not used to this position 😅. So the laps that I had the force to ride like this where good. But without the better position I noticed that the times where faster then normal (normal was 2:00 ish) and now they where at 1:57 at a constant level.

With this progress I’m very pleased and getting everytime I go out more knowledge of the bike but in a good controlled way without taking risks feels well.

On the last session of the day I had a Kawasaki ZX10R at my front which I had difficulties overtaking. His straight line acceleration was phenomenal and on the brakes he was slower and there I could cover the lost distance again but a tired body prevented my to make a good overtake on the brakes and had to really position the manoeuvre. But I succeeded in overtaking him 💪

See you on the track! Next time Mettet since a very long time. Looking forward to it.
